The weekend of May 15-17 we stayed at the YMCA camp on Lake Wenatchee. We arrived on Friday afternoon. On Friday we took our belongings to our assigned cabins, took a tour of the camp, ate dinner, and sat around a camp fire with the cohort. Saturday we were busy doing sessions with the 8th grade honors students from Morgan Middle School. We were in small groups and each had different activities planned for the students. We participated in skits and entertainment for the students each evening next to the camp fire. On Sunday we conducted a couple more sessions of activities for the students, cleaned the cabins and campground, and drove back to Ellensburg. This was a good time for our cohort to hang out and have fun together.
